iiiiiiiii wanna be your chick man, i wanna be down for you....
yesterday in the David Westerfield trial, the 18 year old son Neal Westerfield came to the stand to testify to whether or not he downloaded child pornograpy on his dad's computer. Anyway the prosecution was asking him questions like: "how often do you look at porn", "what kind of porn have you looked up", "how do you get your porn", "does your mom know you look at porn", "what's hentai", and "how did you find your dad's porn"? I mean, dude, if that was me, i would NOT be able to answer those questions in front of my parents. Yeah my dad was on trial for child pornography charges, but still that's kinda awkward to be answering those questions on national TV. oh, and the irony was, my dad and i were both in my room watching all of this on tv! haha, my dad was surfing the net on my comp and i was on my bed watching tv.
i'm trying to fix my biological clock. that's why i signed off at 11:30pm last night, because i wanted to get to bed early and see if it was possible for me to wake up @ 630am. i'm going to have to do that regularly since i have summer school in 9 days. anyway, i fell asleep at around 1 finally, had the alarm wake me up at 630, but i was so disoriented that i fell back on my bed and went back to sleep for 4 more hours. so sad, haha.
i was talking to Lauren yesterday, and found out she is in the exact same state of summer limbo boredom that I am. i mean, we have no jobs, and no cars, and no summer school (well i have mine coming in august, she has none). so we find ourselves each day trying to pass the time with little menial tasks. read the newspaper, watch tv, tidy up the room, surf the net. but yeah, i suddenly don't feel so bad, because even though i am bored, there are others who are even MORE bored than i am! i feel lucky now that i have friends who like to do stuff on weekends, whether it be dre & chien who want to go watch a movie, or cat who wants to eat at restaurants, or tri & lester who want to go watch a padre game. well yeah it's not like i do that stuff EVERY week, but at least i've been able to have some interesting moments. and comic con is in 8 days!
oh yeah, i also got added into my ECE 60L class this summer, and now i'm all ready to roll this second summer session. i feel bad though, because i'm siphoning my parents for $624 this summer, which i could have saved if i had just taken the classes during the regular year. i know that once i graduate i'm going to owe my parents a grip of money. see, people get loans from the government to pay for college, i get loans from my parents. haha, they're much less scarier than banks (well actually my parents are kinda scary haha).
