i'm working on ECE lab right now. time to blog.
forreal, i never new how fun summer school can be. at first i was like, "wtf, schooL?" well yeah it's hard (as Mago puts it, "you're going to hate life this summer"). but then i get to go around, doing all kinds of stuff i never would have been able to do if i didn't have the car to use. so for your reading enjoyment, i've compiled a quick review of my favorite part of the summer so far: LUNCH !!!
Here are all the places i've eaten so far this summer for lunch:
Thai House: get the pad thai. and if you want the fried rice, be specific if you don't want it spicy, or you'll be like tuyen and susan who got it all spicy and the waiter looks at you with an evil stare in his eyes.
Roberto's: ok, that morning i ate two waffles. so that afternoon at like 2pm, i consumed an entire tray of carne asada fries in 7 minutes.
7-11: nothing, and i mean nothing, beats the Icee on a hot summer day in la jolla. start with red on the bottom, then move to the white nozzle. then finish off the patriotic look with some blue Icee on top. If you still have room, add some more red at the top. After a few minutes, the Icee will melt into a cool purple color. add in a 1/4 lb hot dog, topped with onions relish and salsa, and you're allll good.
Burger King: the original chicken sandwich is still there best menu item. and they have those little ketchup cartons, you know those things that look like shriner's caps? yeah....
Wendy's: what's this overpriced shit? eh, uyen paid for it anyway, so phew. haha, so sad....
Subway: 12 inch roasted garlic, roasted chicken with swiss cheese, mayonnaise and mustard, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, black olives, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. caution: the sandwich folder will not be able to fit it in between one loaf, so when you eat it, be sure to securely hold the bottom of the sandwich!!!
