i am number one, two is not a winner and three nobody remembers
finally, after long waiting, the weekend finally came. so much stuff to do but so little time, so i missed out on a few things but i had fun doing other stuff. so you wanna hear about it? eh might as well, i'm not going to get any studying done today. keep your hands and feet inside the Blog at all times, and here we go...
saturday
8am - so I woke up an hour later than I wanted, but that's ok. I haven't washed my car in a month, and the passengers in my car the past few weeks have been kind enough not to comment on just how freakin ugly my car was. Spots, spots, and more dirt spots all over, and it got to the point where my windshield was unusable because i couldn't see out of it. So that morning I lugged out the garden house, got the soap, put on the wool car mitt, and washed it all away. I still have to vacuum the rugs and clean the inside of the windshield, but it looks much better on the outside. I still haven't changed my oil, and i'm pushing 4000 miles on it now.
10am - i got to Mira Mesa and went to mikey's house for the APSA retreat. I went to the door but didn't hear anybody talking or nothing, so I was afraid of having the wrong house. I rang the doorbell and Caroline answered and let me in, and when I went inside, everyone, like literally, everyone, was sleeping. Armando was still playing WarcraftIII but other than that, man, everyone was knocked out. I just wandered around seeing who was asleep while Caroline (apparently our new APSA mom) was cooking sausage potatoes and eggs for all of us. Everyone eventually woke up and before the activities for Day 2 started, i got in a game of 13 with Wilson Soap and Mizuki, and got in some football with Jeff Mikey and Adam on Madden 2003 (should i be concerned that I am too freakin good at that game?)
12pm - still @ APSA retreat, we had Trust Fall, where someone falls backward and everyone catches them, and lifts them up in the air and rocks them back and forth. It was 1pm and everyone was still chatting and stuff, but when the next activity started that's when i left.
130pm - ok so I was late because I told Gina i would come pick her up at 1pm, but oh well, it's Filipino time. the Philippines is 16 hours ahead from where we are in San Diego. so don't look at us as being late, we're 15 hours early. we're from the future. and when i picked her up yeah, she wasn't too happy.
200pm - we got to the Fashion Valley mall just in time to catch the 205pm showing of Chicago, but yeah we missed the trailers and the movie was like 30 seconds in when we started. and we also had to sit in like, the very front, so it was all big. ahhhh around this time i haven't done anything right. but yeah after a while our vision got used to the big screen so it was ok. it's a good movie, rene zelewlelelwleiger or whatever can really sing, and so can catherine zeta jones. after the movie i had to go put gas in my car, then we went to go get boba at Tapioca Express. I dropped her back off and then went on to....
5pm - my friend Johnny's apt, the one i was going to stay over at. We played a few minutes of Fatal Frame, then balled it up with his friend Voo in NBA Street. Kept on playing until...
745pm - it was time to go get alicia and take her to the All Asian-Org dance sponsored by PAC (pacific asian council). i got to the warren parking lot at 755pm, and i called alicia on the phone and she was like, "give me 5 minutes". so i stood by my car, fiddling around, cause i couldn't leave it where it was cause i would get a ticket. i looked at my watch and it was already almost 810pm, so i called her again and finally she came down. note, if a girl takes long to get ready, she better look hella fine when she's done, lol j/k. see, now i know how it feels when you're waiting for people who are late. but yeah, i would later realize there was ZERO rush getting to the ballroom because,
815pm - nobody was there! alicia kept telling me, "there's nobody going to be there this early...." but i kept telling her that there probably would be. so to find out who was right, we went early. and yeah, i was wrong. mikey was up there spinning, and a few APSA people were already there talking, but like, freakin A, there wasn't anyone there. there wasn't that much publicity, and word was that there was another dance @ the Pub, so that might have taken away some other people. Anyway props to Wilson who seems to have cajones as big as mine when it comes to being the one who starts it off on the dance floor. I remember LifeForm last year when i walked in and there was nobody there and I asked this KDPhi chick where everyone was, and she was like "well go start it off!". i hate doing that, why am i the only one brave enough to start? that's why it was cool to see that wilson is just as brave as I am. jel just walks around every now and then and wimps out, so he still hasn't learned enough from me yet. but anyway the dance was pretty cool. Bumrush DJs surefl0w and allg00d always hook it up for me (i.e. techno) and in turn i always show up to their events that they spin at. but yeah, i stayed till the very end. i think dances are the only exercise i get every few months, bahahahahaa.
1215am - jeff invited alicia and i to go eat @ tgi fridays with kim and wilson, so being as hungry as I was we got in the car and headed on over. wilson was so thirsty he ordered several glasses of water, and i was thirsty too so we tried to see who could drink water faster. on the first glass i think i won, but the problem was it made me full afterward so i was like uh oh, haha. i had to go ahead and take my appetizer home. i can't believe i spent $20 there, maybe i was just lightheaded from the fatigue. drop the tip off, say later to jeff kim and wilson, and back to warren it was. i dropped alicia off at her apartment, then headed on back to johnnhy's place...
2:00am - steph was back with her brother arthur, and him me and arthur balled it up in madden 2003, as johnny and i led the Bucs to a 17-7 victory over the Raiders. after that we popped in Fatal Frame, a game steph has long awaited to play, and after several warnings by johnny and i she went ahead to play, and yeah it freaked her out. i mean, this probably is one of the scariest video games ever. and we turned off the lights for the full effect, and oooooh it's nerve wracking. i took control and after a bit, we paused to go show arthur how to play CS. after like a 5 minute nap we went back to Fatal Frame and with the help of steph's japanese roommate we decoded the puzzles in the game. but the fright of the game got too much for us so we had to turn it off.
6:00am - go to sleep.
sunday
1130am - my sister called me on the phone like where are you? cause i said i'd be home around 11amish, but anyway i told her i'd go home around 130pm instead. anyway i packed up my clothes and watched some super bowl pregame show stuff, then headed off around 1. everyone was sleeping (except steph's bro) when i left.
130pm - got home, dropped all my stuff off in my bedroom, then was went straight downstairs to eat nachos and tacos. my cousins and auntie and uncle came over to watch the game with us too.
200pm - still eating and watching super bowl pregame.
214pm - Super Bowl XXXVII kickoff! Bucs v Raiders in sunny Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, CA
600pm - ain't life grand when all you do is watch Super Bowl football?
800pm - Bucs 48 Raiders 21, and it's time to finally stop eating nachos and tacos :-(
and that was the end of the weekend. it's just past 12am now, so i can officially say that I did zero studying or homework over saturday and sunday. aaaaaaaaa my back hurts. *rolls over on side* kcul8er
