so fly so cool girl i wanna talk to you

it's time for the Tuesday night blog! *starts making pattering sounds on the desk with hands*

i feel like such a talk show host. alright what's on tap for today? *spins in chair to get cue cards*

---

first up, let's give a shout out to parents. no not our own parents, but our friends' parents. i'm talking about how whenever you go visit a friend's house, and their parents treat you nice, or your friend's parents are around and they pay for your lunch. those are the dope ones. i was helping Gina move and her family treated me and her boyfriend to lunch at TGI Fridays (where i had the very nice Garlic Chicken, with French Onion Soup). i recently visited arjel at his house for both his graduation party and also to drop off a birthday/grad gift, and both times i was given food to take home, whether it be pancit and adobo, or plums from their renowned plum tree.

let's give it up for those parents who hook you up. and i'm sure we all aspire to be those "cool parents" when our kids have friends over. heck, we're all cool now, who says we won't remain kick-ass in 20 years?

let's move onto work. so i'm the assistant manager at Accurate Engineering (with my official title being Project Manager Assistant). it's a part time job by choice; it's not particularly interesting, and it's not what i want to do long-term. so i've heated up the job search, with a newly armed resume which reads College Graduate. i'm going nuts with the cover letters, emails, and praying that someone will get back to me. my ideal job is something in Costa Mesa, being a PC/LAN tech with Meridianlink.

but to move to LA for $15/hour? it's just an internship after all.

BUT it's something i really would like to do. and i haven't even been contacted by anyone yet, not even a confirmation email that they received my application, so let's hope it works out.

eh i'm out of topics.

*hears Simpson barking outside*

oh yeah i forgot, only some of you have met my third dog Simpson, the cocker spaniel. if you're reading this and you went to APSA spring retreat in 2003, think Bonerz. now imagine him but waaaaay more rambunctious. he demands so much attention and barks like there's no tomorrow.

so whenever i leave in the morning, i wave bye to the three dogs, being Simpson, Chyna (the alaskan husky/chow) and Polo (the terrier/pomeranian). but poor Polo doesn't get to say bye, because Chyna is tall enough to reach my hand over the fence, and Simpson keeps on jumping, using Polo as a mere footstool. Polo isn't strong enough or tall enough, so she doesn't get to be patted on the head.

i feel sorry for her. gotta suck to be short and puny.

hell yeah for fat people! *lifts shirt and starts patting stomach*
