welcome to atlanta where the playaz play and we ride on them things like eh-vuh-ree-day. so what in the hell is going on with me:
ddr: another reason i wanted this game was to use it as a method of exercise. i had my last doctor's checkup from 2-9, and hey, i went from weighing 230 to now 219. at this pace, i will weigh exactly, 7 pounds, by the time the year starts.
room: my dad and i went to buy shelves from IKEA. You know those shelves that have no visible hardware cause they hang on metal rods in the back? i think he had too much fun installing these shelves, he went back to buy a shelving system for the garage. anyway i finally put up all the frames and posters i wanted, now i'm on the last stage of my room: storage. yeah, it's all these damn papers i've collected from high school classes.
extra curriculars: i'm not doing as much extra curriculars next year. my time management is very poor, that is the main reason i'm commuting. with commuting, i'm forced to cut stuff out of my schedule, and unfortunately that means i won't be able to do a lot of the stuff i did the previous 2 years. my gpa is suffering and i need to seriously increase my studying time. now why concern about this now? the apsa 02 hsc is in brainstorming stages right now, and i always like getting involved. however, chairing programming again would take more weekly meetings and thus more time. the thing is, i've been asking around and finding out info about the infamous potato. Yes, the programming potato. i held it last year. jeff green held it the year before that. james hernandez held it before him. i have to pass this potato off onto someone else.
online: i'm still using AOL right now, so i use it as my primary messenger. there are no AIM profiles while using AOL, and it has poor away message capability. I could of course just use AIM while signed onto AOL at the same time, but it's too inconvenient to switch from one program to another. so i can officially say i'm in a state of retirement from AIM. i just sign on when i have time, and only at noon time and after 1am. hopefully when the year starts, stacy will be able to keep the AIM spirit alive. aaaaaaaahhhh..... being retired is so relaxing *propping feet up on beach chair, reaching for coconut daquiry*
blog: well i have more blogging time. i ran out of blogging time at the end of the quarter.
summer session deux: damn waitlists! does anyone know the "tricks" to the waitlist, where if you're like 11th on a list, you can still improve your chances of getting in? i've heard of some people getting an add card, then going to the registrar and saying like "oh i'm 1st on the waitlist" when they're really 50th, and they get added in cause they don't check. if i wait and let studentlink do the adding, the people who know the ins and outs of the waitlist system will beat me to the punch. and if i miss getting into ECE 60L, i am SCREWED BEYOND BELIEF.
