ok the on campus dance season is starting soon. now why am i so in favor of on campus dances? look on the left side of this website, below all the links. I break down each dance in full detail. haha, i am soooooo not obsessed.
i haven't been to a lot of off campus parties. notice, if it's on campus, it's always a dance. off campus, it's a party. of course they're always funner but you have to know about them. and plus you gotta watch out for noise complaints from the po-leece. the only one i went to was a birthday for this girl in KP. that was pretty cool. actually that is the best excuse to have a party, it's someone's freakin birthday. what, my friend's cousin's brother's uncle's nephew is having a birthday party? then we must go!
yeah i'm excited for school to be starting. i mean, yeah it's a lot of hard work, but it's like the Sims. If you ever play the Sims, you know each character has a "Social" bar. when summer school started, that thing was always on full. it was fun hanging out @ my friend's condo on Executive drive. But since summer school got out, my social bar has emptied. if you were to see me in the Sims i would be standing there crying, with a little bubble floating above my head showing two people talking. seriously, i miss being in contact with my peers, actually talking to them in real voices. everyone jokes about how i use AIM so much that i don't need social contact, but the reason i'm comfortable with AIM is that i was living on campus and i know that i'm going to see the people at the next APSA meeting. But when you're on AIM at home, it's like, you don't get to see the people. they're all off in la jolla and shit while you're in the (bomb ass) southside san diego.
i dunno, i'm just really ready to get this new quarter started. sunday is the all campus dance and i'm going to see if i can go to the warren dance. i really want to go to the marshall dance but i'd be going by myself and that is so not fun. i've been @ dances alone (a lot actually) and it's just not any real fun. and besides, i'm afraid to ask my mom if i can go out three nights in four days (she'd freak, thinking i was doing drugs), especially since she doesn't know any of my friends (yeah, my mom thinks i have no friends. how sad)
