got done helping gina ji and christine move out of their apartment. omg sooooooooo much stuff, thank god that they had their furniture moved out earlier in the week. so today i got called around 2pm to come help, so i just skipped brunch and went straight over to their place. i mean maybe this exercise/fasting thing will shift my metabolism into overdrive so that when i eat a tray of carne asada fries (it's been more than a month now :*-( since i've had them), i can eat it in like 1 hour and burn it in 0.2 seconds. so i watch the last of Around the Horn with Max Kellerman on ESPN, then head up to the Renaissance...
first they had to actually pack all their stuff. so i took the time to watch a little Bend It Like Beckham before we started loading all the cars. Once all 3 were heavily loaded, me ji & gina went to their new place on Nobel and unloaded everything into what seems to be an already cramped apartment. but it's all good, it'll be better at the end of september. so today i played with Christine's cart, pushing boxes back and forth across sidewalks and hallways, folding and unfolding it. stuff ranged from bottles and clothes to computer monitors which were indeed some big suckers. ji showed me her korean music collection (whoohoo shinhwa) and also her collectible Vash the Stampede action figure (although we know it's all about nicolas wolfwood with the cross-shaped gun rack!).
around 945pm they told me to go home, so i did.
earlier today i washed my car!!! even though i hardly ever do it on a regular basis, it feels sooooooooooooooo good to have a clean car! washed the outside, then vacuumed the inside, now i'm free of all the mission beach sand. the windows are now all clean (except the insides of the windshield and rear view window which i plan on cleaning later). i mean doesn't it just feel nice to know that you got a nice clean spankin new ride?
