watch me go deeper than a navy seal (a navy SEAL?)
after CSE 141 and ECON 100A rocked and socked me for 6 horrifying hours of testing, it was time to get ready for the weekend. let's get to writing. cause that's what i do best actually (if i don't make it as an engineer, and if i don't make it as an officer in the Navy Reserve, then i'll be some sort of writer. i mean come on who do you know other than me puts physical attributations in their writing to the point where it becomes the personification of the word into a "visual verbose" style?)
beat that.

Ji's Karate Competition @ Rimac was pretty fun to watch actually. gina invited me to go with her and christine to watch her roommate knock the daylights out of other people, so the chance to hang out with them and to watch legally sanctioned violence was too intriguing to pass up. the beginning of the comp was still the smaller kids, so it's like "awww how cute he's only 5" and then you see him crack another kid in the chest with a punch and you're like "awww he knocked his lights out how adorable" haha.
throughout gina kept asking me if i'd do karate @ rimac next year as a rec class. you know if i don't get a job or internship, i'd probably do that.

Carlsbad Shopping Outlets with alice michelle and frank was pretty fun, we went to return michi's Breakfast of Champions shirt, and to help her look for zipper closure shoes. those are pretty cool, especially the Kevin Garnett ones. you remember the commercial where KG is 1 on 1 with that guy and he keeps blocking his shots? yeah those were the shoes in that commercial. but yeah we browsed around skechers for a bit while the girls were modeling shoes for us =P
i got a no fear hoodie for $20, which was like history because most people never sell hoodies for under $30 because they're freakin cool. i went to Big Dog and got shorts for $10, so they'll double as running and beach shorts too, haha. strange combo, i know. we went to the bookstore and i showed alice "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie", which I think is the best children's book ever. i went to the Chicken Soup section and started reading some stories, then i was getting all sad about the ones with love or tough stuff and i was like ok no more reading this is depressing.
afterward we went to In n Out, which is by far the best hamburger joint on earth. last time i went was waaaaaaaaaay back last summer with kent steph and jose, where after our lab class we went to the In n Out in pacific beach and tried my first 4x4. it was good, and now a year later i got my first 5x5. ok the problem is, it's impossible to start. like, nobody's mouth opens that wide, so you just have to like eat away at it a few patties at a time until it's small enough to actually eat.
i ate that sucker in 4 minutes.
michelle was in awe while frank was giving me props. alice was probably thinking, ok yet another weird thing about this guy...
but yes, it was good to spend time with alice after being busy so long. plus i came out with new clothes and a full stomach

the AOE2 lan party was pretty good. we played at dre's sis' bf jason's house in imperial beach, off Palm avenue by the Promenade 24. he has a nice house and a desk in the living room for us to play. and yeah, i got smashed pretty good in AOE2 considering it's the first time i ever played. but dre kept me going through it most of the time, he had a nice defense set up so that i could hide behind his huge ass walls, and after omg 4 hours, they finally got through the back of our base by mining ALL the wood behind us to make a path.
second game we played @ dre's house 1v1 (with two useless comps) and i got taken pretty bad. but yeah AOE2 is going to be my new game, no more SC, haha.

i'm cutting this blog short because I am on the phone with alice right now and i think she wants to get to bed soon so yeah sorry for the rushing at the end but you know i'm good for it next time when i go for those big 8 page blogs that i like to make after a month long absence from blogger. hey it gives me a better chance for comments because it makes it all interesting, see? i mean doesn't this make you want to click on the Comment box and start commenting right away? i bet you're going to do it right now once you see the beep sound..... *beep*
beat that.
