oh yeah forgot to tell you about this weekend haha
Fourth of July was cool, barbecued with my dad outside then went into food coma after eating that and my sister's macaroni and cheese and my mom's... salad. sorta. my mom and i went walking around the neighborhood for the first time in a while. this time we didn't talk about much, we basically pointed out random things we saw around the neighborhood, like all the smoke from every house that was having a bbq. i kept egging her on to try jogging, and she finally caved in, and it felt good to know that at least i can out jog my mom on the street, or else i really would have been in bad shape O_O. for my mom's age she's in pretty good health, being a cardiologist and all.
the barbecue was pretty cool. i helped my dad clean out the grill which we haven't used in years, then we spent like an hour trying to get these self-starting coals to light up. we kept loading in newspaper as a tinder to see if ANY of the coals would finally start burning, then we got like this one single coal on fire. we kept feeding it and all of a sudden we now had 3 and we were like "whoaaa" it was amazing. then one went out, so then we kept working from only 2 lit coals from the fire, then eventually all of them heated up and the meat started bbqing away.
i played final fantasy 7 all day downstairs in the family room on the big tv. thanks to michelle for letting me borrow it, i am finally gonig to put a serious effort into finishing this game and defeating Shinra! ahha, i'm soooo lame.
