checkin out @ 6 in the mornin (6 in the mornin)

that song is stuck in my head
i'm in the library with alice & kea while alice holds her TA office hours. they're doing their 108 lab, and i'm doing diddly squat so i'm blogging.
last night i went to ebu2 to see how they were doing on their lab. they had it all done pretty handily, although i couldn't understand the lab itself. you know how sad that is? i mean i finished 108 (with a different but harder professor) yet i can't remember anything i did in there. i really want to help alice in 108, but it's ironic cause she seems to get it so far and i'm off in la la land trying to remember what i learned. so it's like i'm of no use to her, and i feel all left out.
i finally have a lab partner for ece 165; byung called me up and asked if i wanted to make a lab group. so it's good to know that at least there are SOME people there who have faith in my technical abilities.
i always say i'm proud of being an electrical engineer, but on the inside i'm constantly worrying that i don't "know" enough to make it in the real world and compete with EEs from all around the world (especially India and Japan). if i can't even remember what i learned in my ece classes, what's going to happen during a job interview? they're going to want to know what i can do, but if i choke and forget everything i'm pretty much dead. it's like i'm about to waste 4 years of expensive education.
relating to that point, i've been stepping up my efforts to become employed after graduation. i'm attending all sorts of workshops @ the Career Services Center, and at the job fair tomorrow i'm going to go nuts handing out resumes and "selling myself for 30 seconds", showing companies what i can do.
