give me something to break

so i'm retired from APSA IM Sports. it was a sad moment for me but nobody could relate to it. everyone there can return next year and play again. but none of them have to deal with the reality of graduating and not being able to play again. well that's not 100% true, i mean you can always play if you have a recreation card (i think big pat has one, i have to ask). but yeah, my highlights have always been football and my interception last season. but i feel incomplete.

i never got my sack. my favorite players in the NFL are linebackers and defensive ends. Jevon Kearse, Brian Urlacher, Seau and Wiley, i mean that's gotta be the coolest job in the world, to chase after a QB and drill him in the side with your shoulder pads and forcing a fumble. THOSE guys all get sacks. i always wanted to have a sack of my own, even in IM football, but i never got one. so my highlight is my interception during my 3rd season, ran back for only 7 yards but still it counted.

now the reference to the picture above, i never got my block. i never got my block, my rejection, nor my stuff. in basketball, i like Ben Wallace and Emeka Okafur because they're pure shot blockers (although Okafur is a big double double man). the last game of our IM season and i desparately tried to reject a shot but i missed on the 3 chances i had, and so i tried to drain a long range 3 a la TMac, but no it wasn't meant to be.

i'm going to miss IM sports. no more chances to play team sports ever in my life (outside a few APSA events). i mean i'm supposedly an "adult" now, who has time to go run down to the park and play 5 on 5 ball or a quick 7 on 7 tackle football game? this sux.
