Happy Easter!

3 good blogs 3 days in a row, as you can tell i have a lot of time on my hands.

Church at St Michael's was good today, even saw Noel Ram and April sitting a few rows above me. i don't go to church a lot, but when i go, i feel good about it. i feel like i'm educating myself about my Philippine culture and at the same time my soul feels cleansed when i leave. the priests never put pressure on you saying that you're EVIL if you don't go to church, it's a very welcoming atmosphere. you look around and see a lot of your Pilipino families, and you can't help but be in awe of how strong the community is in San Diego. it makes me sad how there can't be that many other Pilipinos in UCSD, it would be so cool if there were.

since i haven't been able to see alice at all, i've been going home early these days and been spending more time with my family. it's such a contrast from spending all day on campus and evenings with alice, then coming back at like 10pm when everyone at home is sleeping.

i forgot to blog that i'm officially an employee at Accurate Engineering, Integrated Construction Services located in Sorrento Valley. i do the same thing that i did during my internship: when an invoice, fax, or any other correspondence comes in, i hole punch it, log it, and put it in it's respective project binder. every once in a blue while i get asked to help with certified payroll reports from ADP, or help assemble marketing packages for our president Aldrica (yes i know you're noticing that my name is almost like our president). she owns the company and she runs it along with her husband Steve and brother Rodney. "Rod" is actually my supervisor, so that makes my *official* title Project Manager Assistant.

i make $10 an hour and work 15 hours a week, and if they don't need me then i don't need to report to work. and it's considered fraud if i have nothing to do but i stay and log more paid hours in just to get some free cash.

i'm happy with the working environment, but i'm not happy with the job itself. i want a career in Engineering, especially Cell Design using Magic. but to do that, i need to go to Graduate School. if i can't be a Cell Designer, i want to do something else in the field of electrical engineering, where i design and assemble products. i'm not a fan of coding, because i don't wish to be staring at a computer screen and typing for 20 years. Qualcomm hasn't gotten back to me, so my next target is Raytheon. if not Raytheon, then i want to work for my dream company: Apple.
