work
work was good thursday because Aldrica my new supervisor said that if i get a good evaluation there's a chance i can be extended a job offer. so i think to make myself look viable to them, i'm going to increase my hours from 9am - 3pm. so yeah i still put together binders for field projects, but i'm slowly learning what goes where. what i like is that the other intern david is about to leave, and i might get a shot at doing all the computer stuff like updating the website.
school
i went to TA section and filled out my info card (like name major interests and my thoughts on ethnic studies). for interests, i wrote "just see my Friendster". i guess if i did that then i should really update my friendster regularly then. anyway yeah i had a good section cause i contributed well enough so that the TA will hopefully remember my name when it's time to assign participation grades. we got our essay assignment due friday (a one page thing about how Trask links environmental problems to the US) and i'll get started on it probably tomorrow afternoon.
ece 159a looks freakin hard though. to help me in there i have byung and he has other people, so hopefully i can find someone who has a differential equations book and math 109 resources (stuff about Poisson and about moments of inertia and all the stuff that acampora naiively thought he taught us)
i have to start my neural network research and show Prof. Guest my progress this tuesday. so i gotta copy down some info and see where i'm going. he wants to actually set up a simulation in C++ or Matlab so that we can make an HVAC which would work the way we want it to.

sold Melonade with them on friday, was pretty fun cause i got to cruise around library walk eating vietnamese sandwiches and bbq pork.
we lost our football game today.

the sixth college RAs built a big lead using their speed advantage and even though we came back in the end with two quick TDs with Tori and Zaldy, it still went for naught 26-12. i did my best trying to stick my guy off the line, but i blew the coverage on 2 plays but luckily their QB never noticed.
i guess it's time to get RAWDY next week! w000 w000 !!!!

so yeah now that i finally told my dad, he was cool with it and very encouraging, and he helped me out by telling my mom, and then my auntie and uncle came over and they were also very supportive of alice & me, so it was a success i think. i'm glad my auntie & uncle were there so they probably answered some Qs my mom & dad had about kids who start dating.

saturday was my dad's 50th birthday, so my sister came up with the idea to decorate the dining room like a las vegas casino. she bought a poker & blackjack tabletop and so we laid it out with poker chips, cards, gold coins, and huge stacks of play cash. my dad thought it was pretty cool and me my sister and i played against him when he dealt blackjack and we all took our turn @ no limit hold em poker, courtesty of the ESPN World Poker Tournament (flops turns & rivers).

finally played SH3 again when my cousin came over. omg the Brookhaven Hospital has been totally revamped to scare the bejeezus out of you with annoying drone and wailing sounds. there's this phat scene with you and a mirror and the door behind you locks so..... nah i won't spoil it for you.
i eat a lot whenever it's a family gathering. we get mad amounts of food and i take my time to load up on 4-5 times to eat during the day. i mean why waste the opportunity? i always eat twice a day any other day too >=)
