unbreakable wouldn't you call me mr. glass

spend saturday afternoon with alice, going to ikea and fry's and walmart. she got me a free pillow with her coupon from her cable company, so i might for the first time be sleeping on a real pillow at night, as opposed to the floppy bag of beads that i use currently.

it's good that we get to spend some weekends together, although she needs to concentrate on her insane class workload. she's killing herself with classes but she has to, so i can't tell her to take less classes or anything. i just have to stand by and watch. but i hope she succeeds, she really does want to be a computer engineer and a biochemist.

wednesday thursday and friday have been horrible days @ school, mostly because of the demanding workload i'm taking upon with my classes. the ece 165 lab that byung and i worked so hard on never worked, and after about 35 hours of clicking around, drawing, sketching, looking up diagrams and truth tables, we gave up and used a clock enabled D flip-flop instead of the specified postive edge triggered D flip-flop. and on friday morning, i overslept and didn't get to turn in my ece 107 homework that i worked on until 3am the night before.

school is going horribly. so so so so horribly. it was going so bad i was having very bad thoughts, which i haven't had since like high school. but alice and steph and kea were there to talk me out of doing anything dangerous to myself. =*(

i've been going to a bunch of company presentations as the job search is getting more intense. i still lack the technical foundation to backup my problem solving skills that will help me get a true engineering career. i want to solder circuits and assemble circuit boards like Legos. isn't there any job out there that will let me do that???
