Fourth of July Weekend was one of the better 4th of July weekends i've had in a long time. a family argument couldn't even damper it.


Friday - got calls from Dre and Lester saying that we should all go, in professional terms, "do something". so we went to the Laithai restaurant on Plaza Boulevard, where we dined on some level 10 spicy thai food. gotta love that spicy fried rice and pad thai noodles. i don't like the catfish though, i kept eating bones. and the spring rolls burn your mouth. BUT, if you're looking for thai food in the South bay, well then come here.

we went to the palm promenade and watched White Chicks. WHOAMG funny. the only thing you have to bear with is the fact that they do NOT look like women. but when you believe that they are, then it's pretty damn funny. sucks that i had to go to the bathroom for a few minutse during the middle. and the dumbass behind me spilled his coke.

Saturday - alice and i spent the entire day (and i mean entire) at the San Diego Zoo. arriving at 1030 i guess, we started from the Flamingos, wrapped all around the park (clockwise if u wanna say it like that) to end at the Koalas. lots of birds, and the best animals were the ones who actually MOVED haha. a lot of them kept on napping in the sun, like the Polar Bear. but the turtle and the Pandas were eating, and that was cool to watch. *audience goes awwwwwwwwww*

Sunday - eh that started off bad because i came home late EVEN THOUGH i called. ugh parents. i think the disagreement was that i called at 10pm saying i was late, and she wanted me to call by 8pm. EIGHT O CLOCK WTF IS THAT. and then they go all up like "why do you have to stay out so late anyway". oh oh i understand, she thinks that people are free during the daytime, and everyone goes out and returns by 8pm. YEAH $*#()$*#@ right.

wow that was a good rant. at least i know i'm right. go me.

sunday night was cool because michelle invited us to her PHAT HOUSE up in Encinitas for a bbq and fireworks. her mom made us huge ass hamburgers, complete with lettuce, tomato, pineapple, mustard, ketchup, and relish. i put my fries in mayo and ketchup, although people say it's thousand island dressing. we watched fireworks on the top of her roof. whoohoo for prime seating!!! big ups to the michelle family.

and if you haven't guessed it yet, the above picture is of a Cat firework. it's pretty awesome how they do that.
