take that and rew1nd it back aldrin got the flow that make your booty go *crack*?

i can't find a picture to articulate that this blog is going to be about my weekend. so i found a picture of this random blue wave. *shaking head* and i purposely inserted that 1 in the lyric above so people from google searching for song lyrics won't find my blog anymore

Friday i went grocery shopping with alice, then after she left for Irvine, i was waiting for work party to start so i played pool. there was this 55+ year old man there who came in with his bags and sat down in a chair, and started eyeing everyone who was playing. he was spying on me as i played on my table, then i swear, he walked up to my table, grabbed the triangle, slammed it down on the table, then walked away.

um, wtf? are you drunk or senile or a child molester.....

i keep on playing, then he grabs a pool cue and challenges me. alright, i'm about to be challenged by this old man. at this point i'm thinking he's either going to molest me, or he's a hussler and is going to kick my ass. i cautiously let him play, and i kick his ass twice before he leaves and challenges the group of people playing ping pong on the other side of the gameroom...

take THAT, child molester.

Saturday was APSA Alumni/Undergrad Sports Day, and it turned out to be pretty fun. the turnout was low in the beginning but all the alumni came in later on. i got what i always wanted though: playing time. i was actually getting to play all the minutes i've wanted to in a 5 on 5 full court game (undergrad v alumni/grad seniors). and guess what? running up and down court is fine for a few minutes until you need to die of a lack of oxygen O_o i was just trying to catch my breath on the other end when the undergrads came down the court, and i had to take stacy and soap on a 2 on 1 fast break. after blowing a chance at stealing the ball, i was able to get in their face enough to get the rebound and come out heroically. yes, that was my highlight. stopping the fast break. go aldrin go *flex*

(note: this blog will ignore the fact that the second time it happened, i got scored on)

i also liked the game of dodgeball (if it weren't for the fact i didn't get eliminated so easily due to my large target area which i like to call "me") and steal the bacon (i swiped it from soap and dove across the goal line). good stuff, good stuff i say.

sunday was the AIM: API's in Motion, apsa talent show 2004, and working for richard rita and teri (uh i think i spelled that wrong) proved to be kinda entertaining, because allan and i were working the side doors where we put a ton of caution tape because nobody was allowed to come through it anymore. now if there's one thing i'm going to learn from TS 2004 it's this:

people have ZERO respect for Caution Tape.

we have 3 layers of that stuff covering the stairs. but people want to be Spiderman and jump over and across and under it, because "it's faster if i walk straight through here". and even at the top of the stairs, they still whine to us and plead for us to let them cross. and i'm perfectly willing to bet they had words for us as they were walking away, but you know what? you're not out there in the freezing cold trying like we are. so to those two guys who walked through the tape and wouldn't go away until we let them cross, imma come find you one day and next time you need a favor, i'm like, not going to do it for you!

the experience was made more "complete" due to evan letting me borrow his D-cell flashlight, which gave me the functionality of both a flashlight and a heavy baton.

i think ibsen said at the end of the night that i should become a police officer. if engineering doesn't work out, i want to work as Secret Service.
