it's like this and like that and like this and uh

so that's what a Mashimaro is. interesting.

i was with alice at Fancy-T in Torrance again saturday, and there's also something i've noticed: the Star folding thing. you know how you take thin strips of paper and fold them into stars? yeah i never knew about that either but apparently it's a professional hobby, even with special glass bottles to store your stars in.

alice: "that just goes to show you how clueless guys are"

we ate at Seafood Port, but we passed by Seafood Town, and i have to try that place out one day because gennie has high regards for it. instead of ordering hong kong style chow mein, i ordered some really good beef fried rice and tasted really good pork chops. but note to self: never swallow an entire pork chop whole; you're going to choke on a bone or ligament.

oh yeah i forgot to talk about vsa culture night. it was pretty entertaining. it wasn't good or excellent nor was it bad or horrible, it was entertaining. there were a ton of technical difficulties, but the actors played through them and it was like, omglol funny, especially with the fight scenes and silly string. that was the best fight choreography i have ever seen at a culture night at UCSD. other than that kudos to VSA for putting together a show (that wasn't blueformed i heard, making it even harder to get things together), and good luck with their fundraising for the vietnamese language program.
